I phoned and Redland was responsive the same day, and resolved it ASAP and reasonably priced.  I received an invoice and pictures of the work done the same day before paying.  I have an older roof that needs attention, so over the last 2 years I have had my share of over 5 roofers. Some other companies either dont come to quote or show up and then never quote, or never show up; refuse work ( too small ) - and say you need a whole new roof when you just need a tile so wont do it-  even the so called big one's.  I've been scammed by others ( typical as a single lady) by being ripped off, over paying and bad quality that meeds redoing;)  never got pictures or receipt from others.  So for me it was an absolute pleasure to work with Redland. They will remain my only go to source for roofing going forward.  I've done the leg work for you readers. So I highly recommend them, and don't waste your time anywhere else.

In the time since the review, John from Redland conducted a detailed review of the roof on 23 December and concluded that the work needed redoing. Scaffolding was arranged and the work was completed on 9 January, with no cost to me as the original work carried a five year guarantee. I hope this is the end of the matter. I understand the delay between reporting the fault in October and the remedial work being carried out in January was due to some unforeseen circumstances, so I hope this was not a normal customer experience. Given that Redland stood behind their five year guarantee and did conduct the remedial work, I am changing my rating to 4 stars. Original review 15 December 2025: Work completed in April 2025 by Redland Roofing. Total bill was £3.5k, and carried a five-year guarantee. All looked fine for a few months until early October when the roof began leaking again where the work was carried out. Reported issue to Redland immediately. John came around within a couple of days to have a look and said "we'll get this sorted for you." That was on 21 October and the remedial work is STILL NOT DONE, nearly two months since the inspection. I understand they have been short staffed and also dealing with a family matter, but to leave a paying customer in the lurch for two months is appalling. I have shown plenty of patience, but in my view, a professional and reliable company would have sorted this out within two weeks of being notified, but instead I've been left to chase them and have my messages ignored. I see other reviews where they complete work within a few days, so it's clear that I am not a priority because there is no new money in this job. If this work is not completed by Christmas I will have to consider legal avenues, which I don't want to do, but it seems I'm being left with no choice. So disappointed, and I would not recommend Redland Roofing to anyone after this experience.
